“Unable to be a brain surgeon but with above average looks I became a model with clients such as Pretty Polly, Wella, la Perla and as the only UK swim/lingerie model for Christian Dior the pressure and my income depended on my looks and more importantly my body. My only down fall was a love of food and hatred of exercise. Despite countless fads, starvation, fitness regime and person trainers I was too fat and lazy for my job.
Then I was introduced to Sarah Wightman. Unfortunately time was limited, results had to be fast, my boredom threshold low. Sarah took this all on board. Training was inspirational. No two sessions were the same we biked, skated, boxed, trained in parks, pools, played sports, the gym became a play ground of different exercises using balls dumb bells, bands. Not just the stationary equipment. She took me to the supermarket shopping. Explain how to eat. What to cook when busy/relaxed. When to eat to get the best possible results this was’nt someone who merely handed out diet sheets. Being freelance I had no set work routine which had in the past made it difficult to train and easier not to. However for 4 weeks Sarah made me squeeze in sessions sometimes as early as 5am and as late as 9.pm Sarah was fantastic, adaptable and a task master.
Did I get that bikini body?? Yes and that was 8 years ago and in a world where models are many and jobs few I have had 2 contracts renewed for 2008 swimwear and lingerie all at the grand old age of 39. That is the best proof I can give you of what miracle worker Sarah Wightman is and if your lucky as I was to be trained by her, you will be yet another devotee with a great body!"

I have always played and taken part in sport. I currently do motocross which requires a lot of confidence & core stability. On my more restful days I scull, play tennis, run, cycle and race in duathlons. After several years of what can be described as ‘niggles’ I contacted Jim Byrd Training to see if they could help me. “ Sarah Wightman has been my personal trainer for over two years. Sarah is a real motivator and has really improved my training technique. Every now and then Sarah creates a new programme for me which is designed to fit with my objectives - so if I want to increase my strength for skiing Sarah will design a programme to do that. Or if I need a quick workout to fit in before work Sarah will put together a workout that will achieve what I need to do in a short time.
Sarah is very focussed on getting results fast and encourages me to work to my limit. She also introduces great variety into my workouts so that I never get bored or overwork a particular muscle group. I've noticed that Sarah trains everybody differently. She's great fun to train with and is always cheerful first thing in the morning! I'm definitely a lot fitter since meeting Sarah!”
